Shawn O’Connor is Administrative Director for Clinical Futures at CHOP. He previously served as CPCE's Administrative Manager, as well as Program Manager for the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Antimicrobial Stewardship (IDEAS) research group at Clinical Futures (formerly CPCE). Shawn assisted the group in the management of its research portfolio and staffing. He is also the project manager of the NIAID-funded SCOUT study, investigating the efficacy of short-course versus standard-course antibiotic therapy in the in the treatment of urinary tract infections in children.

Prior to joining the Clinical Futures, Shawn worked in the Division of Sleep Medicine at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from Boston University.
