Sarah Revak, MD

Sarah Revak (she/her) is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab and Clinical Futures at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a post-doctoral fellow in the National Clinician Scholars Program at the University of Pennsylvania and a primary care pediatrician at CHOP.

Dr. Revak is passionate about alleviating the negative effects of poverty on the health and well-being of children and their families. Her research interests center on improving access to health-promoting government assistance programs, with a particular interest in investigating policy and practice-based interventions to reduce the administrative barriers that families face to enroll in and retain nutrition benefit programs. Dr. Revak has previously worked on an intervention to advance nutrition equity among low-income families through a home cooking skills program, as well as a quality improvement intervention to address period poverty among adolescents and young adults experiencing homelessness.

Dr. Revak received her BS in Biology at Haverford College, and her MD at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She recently completed her pediatrics residency training at CHOP.
