Michael Luke, MD, MSHP (he/him) is an Attending Physician in the Department of Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He also serves as a core faculty member at Clinical Futures, Director of Research of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship, and Associate Director of the Community Pediatrics and Advocacy Program.
He is interested in implementing and evaluating methods of addressing social needs in health care settings and using population health strategies to improve care delivery for children hospitalized with asthma.
Dr. Luke received his BE in Civil Engineering at the Cooper Union, his MD at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and his Master’s in Health Policy Research (MSHP) at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in Social Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, a Health Equity fellowship at Health Affairs, and fellowships in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and the Pediatric Hospital Epidemiology and Outcomes Research Training program at CHOP.
