Michael Curley is a Clinical Research Assistant at Clinical Futures and PolicyLab at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is presently working on projects for Dr. Brian Jenssen with the goal to improve pediatric care, and with a focus on smoking cessation. Michael also collaborates with the PolicyLab, where the goal is to create policy changes that help improve child well-being through performing interdisciplinary research.
Before joining CHOP, Michael worked on multiple projects at Lafayette College in Dr. Lisa Gabel’s lab, where he worked on projects with the goal to try and diagnose dyslexia in pre-readers. While there, he gained experience working in a lab setting and running projects with human participants. Michael received a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Lafayette College in May 2024.
