Mazvi Rankin is the Global Health Grants and Program Manager for the Global Health Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In this role, she is pivotal in supporting Global Health faculty, fellows, and residents in identifying, preparing, and submitting competitive grant proposals. Mazvi collaborates closely with the Sponsored Projects Office and the CHOP Foundation, ensuring that global health programs and initiatives receive optimal support from external funders.
Additionally, she manages the Global Health Center’s Africa-based initiatives that aim to enhance pediatric care providers' clinical, research, and leadership expertise across Africa, including Botswana, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, and South Africa. Driven by her Zimbabwean heritage and public health background, Mazvi is deeply passionate about advancing maternal and child health globally and is committed to creating sustainable improvements in health services worldwide.
