Manya Reddy is a Clinical Research Assistant with the Pediatric Infectious Disease Epidemiology & Antimicrobial Stewardship (IDEAS) research group within Clinical Futures at CHOP. She currently works on the STAMPP study, a clinical trial focused on evaluating the effectiveness of Safety Net Antibiotic Prescribing (SNAP) versus immediate antibiotic prescribing for young children with community-acquired pneumonia.

Manya graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Philosophy and Bioethics. While at Georgetown, she conducted research in protein biochemistry, culminating in an honors thesis examining how a neurodegenerative disease-associated mutation affects protein structure and function. She also conducted pediatric resuscitation research at Children’s National Hospital, where she was part of the Videography in Pediatric Emergency Resuscitation (VIPER) collaborative and contributed to a multicenter study examining chest compression technique during pediatric out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
