Madiha Raees, MD

Madiha Raees, MD, joined the Division of Critical Care Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as an attending physician and clinical instructor in summer 2021 after completing her pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins, her PICU fellowship at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, and a pediatric intensive care-global health fellowship at the University of Maryland and Mercy James Institute for Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care in Blantyre, Malawi. Dr. Raees also became a Core Faculty Member in Clinical Futures, a CHOP Research Institute Center of Emphasis, in 2024. Outside of her clinical work in the pediatric intensive care unit, she has a strong interest in optimizing healthcare provision, particularly neurocritical care, for children in variably resourced regions. She seeks to integrate implementation science in her global health and acute care-focused research career.
