Katie Kurowski is a Research Postdoctoral Fellow with Clinical Futures at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
She recently earned her doctorate in Environmental Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and an MPH degree with a focus in infectious diseases and vaccinology from UC Berkeley in 2020. Katie is an environmental epidemiologist interested in environmental exposures related to infectious disease incidence and spread. Her work has used One Health approaches to understanding health risks related to environmental exposures. She has experience working with a variety of different stakeholders, including community organizations and local government. Katie will continue to use her environmental health expertise to investigate factors, like climate change, that influence maternal and child health.
