Dr. Kate Henry is a NAT Research Fellow within the Division of Body Imaging. She is also an Attending Physician and Instructor of General Pediatrics at Clinical Futures at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Henry completed her internship and residency at CHOP after receiving an MD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Biology and Spanish from Williams College. Her research has addressed hospital variation in cervical spine imaging of young children with traumatic brain injury due to accidental or inflicted trauma, and disparities in disposition decisions for young children diagnosed with abuse in the Emergency Department setting. She recently received a F32 Individual Award for Postdoctoral Fellows from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to study imaging in complicated pneumonia.
