Isabelle Spagnuolo

Isabelle Spagnuolo is a Clinical Research Assistant with the Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Antimicrobial Stewardship (IDEAS) research group for Clinical Futures at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She works on clinical research projects under Dr. Brian Fisher's pod. Isabelle is currently assisting with two projects: one examining vaccine recovery for patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), and another evaluating the effects of short-course versus standard-course antifungal therapy for patients with uncomplicated candidemia.

Isabelle is a 2025 graduate from Franklin and Marshall College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Biology. During her senior year, she completed her capstone research project focused on the effect of varying social determinants on women's contraceptive choices, and an analytic memo studying the intersection between methamphetamine use and HIV infection. She also volunteered for Healthy Lives Healthy Lancaster, a health needs assessment initiative in Lancaster, PA. Isabelle will begin her graduate studies in the fall of 2025, pursuing a Master of Public Health in Leadership in Practice from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
