Hojjat Salmasian, MD, MPH, PhD

Dr Salmasian is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Affiliate Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School, and Vice President and Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He is an elected Fellow of American Medical Informatics Association and splits his time between research and operations. His research interests are in Applied Clinical Informatics, with special focus on quality and safety of healthcare and health information technology (HIT), and have resulted in more than 70 scientific publications. In his operational role, he oversees the data and analytics strategy at CHOP and supervises the teams that lead data trust and enablement, data and analytics services, data platforms, advanced analytics and data science.
