David Rub is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a fellow in the Pediatric Hospital Epidemiology and Outcomes Training Program managed by Clinical Futures at CHOP, and a neonatal-perinatal medicine fellow at CHOP. He completed his Pediatrics Residency at CHOP, earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Dr. Rub is also earning his Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania
Dr. Rub’s academic interests focus on personalizing respiratory support for preterm infants. He is currently leading two clinical studies using electrical impedance tomography to describe differences in non-invasive ventilation modalities. Additionally, Dr. Rub was awarded a Novice Research Award from the Gerber Research Foundation for this work.
