Andrea Jones, MD, MSCE is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania and an attending physician in the Division of Cardiology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She is a member of the sections of Pulmonary Hypertension and Echocardiography. Dr. Jones received her undergraduate degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Brown University and her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatrics residency, pediatric cardiology fellowship, and advanced fellowship in non-invasive cardiac imaging at CHOP. She also received her Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Jones' research focus is on outcomes in patients with congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension. She has a particular interest in health disparities and identifying strategies to equitably improve patient outcomes. She also studies important imaging and biochemical outcomes predictors to improve clinical decision-making.
