Louis M. Bell is a core faculty member at Clinical Futures, Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, and the Division Chief of the Division of General Pediatrics at CHOP. Dr. Bell is an attending on the General Pediatrics Inpatient Service and the inpatient Infectious Diseases services.
Dr. Bell has published more than 80 peer-reviewed research publications and over 45 chapters and reviews. His areas of expertise include: computerized clinical decision support to improve the quality of care; epidemiology, management and treatment of common pediatric infectious diseases; the use of primary care practice-based research networks for clinical research; and quality improvement through the use of clinical pathways.
