Kavita Dedhia, MD, is a core faculty member in the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE), an academic surgeon in the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at CHOP, and an assistant professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
Her research focuses on best practices in management of pediatric otolaryngology disorders specifically otitis media. She has expertise in the surgical and medical management of children with otitis media and is committed to ensuring that families are fully informed of all treatment options for their child.
Dr. Dedhia received her medical degree from Wright State University, in Dayton, OH. She completed both her otolaryngology surgical residency and her pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. She completed an additional fellowship in otology at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania.
