Mickael Boustany, MD, is a research technician at Clinical Futures and PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Boustany assists the primary investigators of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Antimicrobial Stewardship (IDEAS) Research Group. His current projects include data collection and entry for a multitude of studies, quality control and management for kidCOVE, and hands-on duties for NIMBi and PROSpect.
Dr. Boustany graduated with high distinction from the Lebanese American University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Upon graduating, he pursued his Medical Degree at the American University of Beirut. During his undergraduate and graduate studies, he was involved in many diverse research projects including neuroscience, population genetics, microbiology, infectious diseases, gynecology, dermatology, and public health. Dr. Boustany plans to apply for the National Resident Matching Program in 2023, where he aims to match in pediatrics.
