Megan Hale is a Senior Grants Writer for Clinical Futures and PolicyLab at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In this role, she provides expertise and support to the interdisciplinary Clinical Futures and PolicyLab faculty and oversees all grant writing and management functions to maximize essential support from external sponsors. As the point person on grant proposals, she helps by facilitating communication among team members and with the Sponsored Projects Office, organizing the submission process and providing writing, editing, project planning, and budgeting services.

In addition to these responsibilities, Megan coordinates the Clinical Futures (formerly CPCE) Pilot Grant Program and the Internal K Review Committee. Her educational background is in Philosophy (BA, Saint Joseph’s University) with a Medical Ethics concentration. She has been writing grants since 2008 for a variety of organizations, including government, nonprofit, and academic organizations, and has been with Clinical Futures since 2011.
